Through the ministry of Equipping Lydia, Laura Beach guides individuals and groups through the process of spiritual formation. She journeys with others as they explore their understanding of God\’s love, healing and restoration.
- 15+ Years Experience in the field of adult education and group facilitation
- Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, 1985.
- Completed Ministry of Spiritual Direction Program through the Center for Spiritual Formation, 1999.
- Masters of Divinity, Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky; May, 2007.
- Ordained Deacon, Member of the Susquehanna Conference & Associate Member of the Kentucky Conference , United Methodist Church; June, 2007.
Spiritual Direction Apprentice & Program Facilitator

As an apprentice with Equipping Lydia, Laura Messamore is a pilgrim on the journey of her own faith formation and is learning how to guide others as they discern the presence of God in their own lives. She provides leadership for Holy Listening, the Spiritual Direction Apprenticeship Program, retreats, and is available for spiritual direction.
