- $10 – One book of stamps for mailing encouraging notes or many pots of coffee and tea to welcome the weary!
- $15 – Soup for one retreat or several reams of paper for retreat handouts
- $40 – One tank of gas to get a retreat team to the ministry location or one month’s phone bill to cover the hours of phone ministry to women around the world
- $75 – One woman’s spiritual direction ministry appointment or attendance at a retreat
- $150 – One day of ministry operations
- $750 -$1000 – One retreat
- $950 is also needed to cover the expenses licenses and the application for tax-exemption. Any gifts towards this are greatly appreciated.
Gifts of Service
This ministry seeks foster a community of leaders like the women who ministered to the needs Jesus and his disciples. Equipping Lydia is searching for women like Mary and Solome (see Mark 15 & 16). Can you join us in ministering to the body of Christ today? We need those with servant hearts to minister as:
- Intercessors & Prayer Partners
- People who could help set up / tear down for retreats
- Hostesses at retreats or on helping hands days
- Shoppers / errand runners
- Seamstresses
- Note writers
- Coordinators – Do you like to organize things/people?
- Women who could play with children –like surrogate aunts and nanas, while the moms help in other ways.
- Large suitcases on wheels to carry supplies
- Prayer shawls
- Office supplies
- Gently used gift bags
- Gently used Christian or theologically related books (we sell them)
- Gift cards for iTunes.
- Small crosses, beads & jewelry making supplies.
- Thank you gifts for host homes and volunteers who serve on retreat leadership teams
- 8 quarts of soup each month (jars supplied!)
- Desserts / coffee cakes (frozen)
- Chocolates, mints or nuts
- Fresh fruit for each month’s retreat
- Decaf. Tea
- Dinner for retreat leadership team who prep the night before each retreat.

Tax-Exemption Status
Equipping Lydia, Inc. is a Kentucky non-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. As such, the organization is eligible for exemption from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; and, is in the process of obtaining that exemption. Please understand that until Equipping Lydia, Inc. receives a determination letter from the IRS designating our organization as tax-exempt, we cannot guarantee that any contributions will be tax deductible. We fully expect the IRS to designate our organization as tax-exempt and that the effective date will be May 19, 2010, the date on which Equipping Lydia, Inc was formed (see page 5 of IRS Publication 557). If so, any donations to the ministry on or after May 19, 2010 would be considered charitable contributions for the tax year in which they were given.
