Spiritual Refreshment Retreats – For Women

What to expect:
9am – 3pm Experience guided times of quiet, solitude, prayer, worship, study of Scripture, and fellowship.
3pm – 5pm As the Spirit leads… during this time some women will need to return home while others are welcome to stay and continue in fellowship, reflection, or receive personal prayer ministry.

Who should attend:
Women of the Christian faith who may feel weary, dry, or depleted. This is gentle day with much freedom in a beautiful setting and it is perfect for “first time” retreatants. Individuals are welcome as are small groups or clusters of co-workers and friends. These retreats are especially helpful for women on the front lines of Kingdom ministries in their homes, communities, churches, and in the world.

Silent Retreats – For Men and Women

What to expect:
9am – 3pm Experience a day of silence and fasting in Christian community where we gather regularly for the reading of Scripture and worship before entering back into silence. The fasting is optional if there are dietary constraints.
3pm – 5pm Celebrate the tradition of the Love Feast as we break our fast and give thanks in praise and prayer for what the Lord has done in our hearts this day.

Who should attend:
Men and women of the Christian faith are invited to attend these silent retreats. These are especially helpful for those who are discerning God’s good will in their lives or simply need to stop and listen to the still small voice of God in the midst of the hurricanes of modern life.

3pm – 5pm As the Spirit leads… during this time some women will need to return home while others are welcome to stay and continue in fellowship, reflection, or receive personal prayer ministry.

Who should attend:
Women who long to mature in the likeness of Christ are invited to attend these retreats, particularly if you have struggled with freedom, maturity, rest or perhaps having an openness of your heart and life to others.

Retreat Costs

Unless noted, there is no set fee for most Equipping Lydia retreats. We do receive a love offering which can be either financial or an offering of service towards this ministry. Your offering is not a “payment for services rendered.” Grace is not something one can buy. In fact, others have poured into Equipping Lydia so that you can have this experience of spiritual renewal.

Your offering ensures that someone else in a future retreat can be blessed. And so, it is an appropriate act of Thanksgiving to prepare to leave an offering. Your gift can be an offering of money or of Christian Service.

If your gift is service: Equipping Lydia needs women to serve in a variety of capacities… See our Wish List

If your gift is financial: We are finding that the cost per retreatant, per day, is $50-$75. Your financial help ensures that these retreats are available for other persons. Please be as generous as the Lord leads you.
