Jacqueline Hollowell is a pastor to pastors.  She  has served as a leader with Equipping Lydia for over 5 years including prayer partner, hostess, group leader, retreat shepherd, and as chair of the Board of Directors.  Jacqueline has been active in the greater Lexington Kentucky community through service in numerous civic and Christian organizations.  She has a mighty heart to intercede for those who are struggling and is a wonderful encourager to those in leadership.

Eleanor W. LaCasse is a retired editor, living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Over her career, she has worked in public relations, marketing and fundraising. She has 2 grown sons (one of which is married to Laura Beach’s sister) and 2 grandchildren.  She fills her retirement time as a Stephen Minister at Highland Presbyterian Church and volunteering at United Disabilities Services.

Rev. Elizabeth Givler, Member-At-Large

With a unanimous vote, Rev.Elizabeth Givler was elected as the new member-at-large to the EL Board of Directors.  Elizabeth has been a friend to EL for years and has participated in both spiritual direction and retreats. Elizabeth is an ordained Elder in the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church.  She has a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music, Oklahoma City University.  Elizabeth completed Mediation Skills Training Institute at the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center. She  serves as a mediator between clergy and congregations and leads Conflict Transformation and Communication Workshops. She also has an adjunct faculty position at Elizabethtown College School of Continuing and Professional Studies and is a leader at CrossPoint United Methodist Church, Rutherford Campus.

Erin Benjamin became the Executive Director for Equipping Lydia in July of 2016.  She received her M.A. in Spiritual Formation from George Fox Seminary and is an alumni of Asbury Seminary.  Erin lives in Wilmore, KY with her husband and 5 children.

Equipping Lydia began through Laura's lifework as a spiritual director in 2006.  She served as Executive Director from  2007 to 2016 and is now helps  EL on the Board of Directors. Laura has practiced the art of spiritual direction since 1999.  Her background includes:

Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Randolph-Macon Woman's College, 1985.
Completed Ministry of Spiritual Direction Program through the Center for Spiritual Formation, 1999.
Masters of Divinity, Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky; May, 2007.
Ordained Deacon, United Methodist Church.
