Rev. Elizabeth Givler was elected as the new member-at-large to the EL Board of Directors. Elizabeth has been a friend to EL for years and has participated in both spiritual direction and retreats. Elizabeth is an ordained Elder in the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music, Oklahoma City University. Elizabeth completed Mediation Skills Training Institute at the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center. She serves as a mediator between clergy and congregations and leads Conflict Transformation and Communication Workshops. She also has an adjunct faculty position at Elizabethtown College School of Continuing and Professional Studies and is a leader at CrossPoint United Methodist Church, Rutherford Campus.
Joycelyn is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. She has served with Equipping Lydia since 2012. She has Shepherded retreats, served as prayer partner and served as a member on the Board. Joycelyn also served as an intern for EL and led a leadership mentoring group. Joycelyn Lewis is a congregational, organizational and leadership development specialist. She also has a heart for mentoring leaders and is the CEO/Founder of Legacy Mentoring Academy.
Joycelyn graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and also holds a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation and a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary. She is married to Wendell, has two children, Dominae and Darius. She also has one grandson, Josiah, and five goddaughters.

Equipping Lydia began through Laura's lifework as a spiritual director in 2006. She served as Executive Director from 2007 to 2016 and is now helps EL on the Board of Directors. Laura has practiced the art of spiritual direction since 1999. Her background includes:
Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Randolph-Macon Woman's College, 1985.
Completed Ministry of Spiritual Direction Program through the Center for Spiritual Formation, 1999.
Masters of Divinity, Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky; May, 2007.
